Coach - Senior Women
Jody Paul was appointed as assistant coach of the England and GB women's teams in January 2022.
As a player, he amassed 38 caps for South Africa and appeared at the 2004 Olympics and 2006 Commonwealth Games. He then became the Head of Hockey at the University of Bath, overseeing a hugely successful period for the institute as several players graduated from its ranks to become senior internationals.
Prior to his latest role, Jody had been part of the England and GB coaching programmes for 10 years. This includes roles as head coach of the England U18 boys' team and the GB Women's Elite Development Programme (EDP) while he also assisted the England U21 men's side too. He also helped out as an assistant coach when England's men won EuroHockey bronze in 2017 and when Great Britain's women contested the 2018 Champions Trophy.
