Coach - Senior Women
David has been a part of the coaching set up for England and Great Britain since 2013, initially working as assistant coach for the senior and U21 men's teams before transitioning to the women's programme in 2017.
He was an assistant to both the England and Great Britain squads before being named head coach of both in September 2021.
He had previously been the temporary head coach for England's women at the 2017 Hockey World League Semi-Finals as Danny Kerry was taken ill and Great Britain's women at the 2018 Champions Trophy. As well as assisting England's women at the 2018 World Cup, he also helped GB achieve a bronze medal at Tokyo 2020.
He previously coached Loughborough Students and played more than 100 international games as a forward for Scotland.
In 2022, he led England to Commonwealth gold and was nominated for a UK Coaching award for Moment of the Year 2022.
