Having grown up playing alongside her sister Sophie throughout the England Age Groups, Liv was selected with her twin to be part of the Great Britain programme for the Paris 2024 cycle in January 2022. She made her senior international debut for England against Argentina in February 2022.

In the summer of 2023, Liv featured for England at the 4 Nations Women's Invitational tournament in Barcelona as well as the EuroHockey Championships in Monchengladbach.

Liv has played for both the England U16 and U18 teams and was set to captain England's U21s at the 2021 Junior Women's World Cup before it was postponed.

She has also been part of the GB EDP for several years and is a student at Loughborough University.
