Sabbie made her return from a serious knee injury during the 2018 Champions Trophy and immediately showed the quality that saw her called up to make her international debut three years before.
Having been out of the game for 18 months, Sabbie has since gone on to make a number of appearances for Great Britain during the FIH Hockey Pro League and produced some impressive displays against The Netherlands and Belgium in late 2020.
A proven winner, Sabbie was part of the England side that claimed a memorable European gold on home soil in 2015 and has also been a key member of the Surbiton outfit that has dominated the women’s domestic game. She was also a reserve as GB won Olympic bronze at Tokyo 2020.
In the summer of 2022 she made her World Cup debut for England, and then helped them win a first ever Commonwealth Games gold in Birmingham. In 2024, she played a crucial role in qualifying GB for Paris 2024.
