Since making his debut in May 2015, David has become a regular for both the England and Great Britain sides and is one of the most senior and respected members of the squads.
He may be a kind and gentle person off the pitch but, on it, he’s a world class operator, capable of distributing defence-splitting passes while also regularly disrupting opposition attacks.
David was part of the team that appeared at Rio 2016 before winning a bronze medal with England at the 2017 EuroHockey Championships before injury limited his appearances.
However he fought back superbly to help England to a fourth-placed finish at the 2018 World Cup and has barely missed a game since, leading to him playing a crucial role as GB's men finished fifth at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
David was then selected for the winning GB Squad that played in Argentina, where he played 2 out of 4 games, helping them to go top of the table after the first mini-tournament.
David represented England at the 2023 EuroHockey Championships and helped GB qualify for Paris 2024.
