Welsh defender Jacob made his GB debut in October 2019 after impressing for his home nation at the EuroHockey Championships just a few months before.
Since then he has been a mainstay in the British defence, helping the country for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics before starring at the Games as they recorded their best overseas placing since 1988.
An all-action player known for his energy and tenacity in the tackle, Jacob has already played more than 50 games for Wales too having only switched to the sport of hockey aged 13.
He also helped GB’s U21s to Sultan of Johor gold in 2018.
Jacob has become an integral part of both Wales and GB squads. He represented Wales at their first World Cup in 2023 and helped qualify GB for Paris 2024.
