From an early age Zach had been highlighted as a player to watch and is certainly living up to that billing with his consistently dazzling performances on the biggest stage.
He has barely missed a game since making his international debut in October 2018, appearing at a World Cup and two EuroHockey Championships with England before starring as GB finished fifth at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
A supremely talented winger, Zach offers an abundance of threat going forward and can often be found dancing and weaving his way past opposing defenders. Sometimes he also likes to pull off 3D skills in front of his own goal as well!
Zach’s family are his biggest supporters and his brother acted as his mascot during the FIH Olympic Qualifiers, running out and standing alongside him during the national anthems.
In the summer of 2022, Zach was handed the England captain's armband for the Commonwealth Games and led the squad to a bronze on home soil.
Zach spent 2023 representing England at the World Cup and EuroHockey Championships, whilst also playing for GB in the FIH Pro League.
He began 2024 by qualifying GB for Paris 2024.
