New direction for the Women’s GB Hockey Elite Development Programme

Great Britain Hockey are delighted to share its new and exciting approach to the GB Women’s Elite Development Programme to ensure it continues to provide the best possible support to sub-senior female players with the potential and aspiration to play international senior hockey for Great Britain.

The purpose and objectives aren’t changing, but the squad structure and the way the programme is delivered will change with a more individualised programme to accelerate the development of 10-15 GB players who show the potential to progress to GB senior international level in the next 1-5 years.

Applications are now open for sub-senior elite female players from across the Home Nations to apply to be part of the programme. Please note the application form must be completed by the player themselves.
