Wales Release Squad for Women's Euro Hockey Qualifiers
Wales women have released their squad for the Women’s Euro Hockey Qualifiers occurring at Durham University this weekend. This competition only allows the winning team among the four competing to qualify for the European Championships in Summer 2023.
Wales will be playing alongside England, Croatia and Slovakia at Durham University from 25-28 August. There are limited seating tickets left for all days, but ground passes are still available. For tickets please click here. Off the pitch there will be a variety of food ad concessions, a hockey fun zone and hockey shop.
The squad of 18 has made a few changes since the team that competing in Birmingham 2022, with Phoebe Richards making a return after her recent concussion, Lauren Roberts being giving an opportunity in the squad after an promising summer of hockey, and Maddie Goodman making her international debut post Sophie Robinson’s retirement. For Rebecca Daniel, it will be a return to her University to play back on home grounds.
