England Release Squad for Women's Euro Hockey Qualifiers

England have released their squad for the Euro Hockey Qualifiers in Durham this weekend, where only the winner out of the four teams competing this weekend will qualify for the European Championships in Summer 2023.

The women will be playing at Durham University from 25-28 August, with limited seating tickets left for all days but ground passes are still on sale, see our official ticketing site to get your tickets to see the women play fresh from the historic Commonwealth Games gold medal in Birmingham.

England will play Wales, Croatia and Slovakia throughout the event, and off the pitch there will be a choice of food and drink concessions, a hockey fun zone and hockey shop.

The squad includes 12 Olympic medal winners, including goalkeeper Maddie Hinch, and Britain’s most decorated player of all time, Laura Unsworth. For Fiona Crackles and Tess Howards, current Durham students, it will be an exciting weekend for them to play at their University. Only one change has been made from the Birmingham 2022 Squad which is Alex Malzer replaces Lily Walker.
